Sewing Basics

Are you looking for a refresher course? Or are you a total beginner? Learn all you need to know in just 3 hours.
No Experience Required.
This introductory 3-hour session allows you to gain confidence, covering the basics of machine sewing whilst making a tote bag. Learn about fabric construction, get tips on pattern selection, how to thread a machine, load a bobbin, cut out a pattern, sew straight seams and turn perfect corners, gathering all the knowledge you need to move on to further projects.

You may be able to borrow a sewing machine, but please feel free to bring your own (must be in full working order).

Refreshments will be provided. Tickets £30.
