Huge thanks to Coast to Coast Surf School who have very kindly donated £500 to the Friends so that we can buy some native saplings to get our biodiversity projects off to a great start!
Even more great news, our application to East Lothian Council's Regeneration Fund to buy fruit trees and shrubs for the Wildlife Garden was successful too.
We have a lot of planting to do and so we’re asking for your help please.
We’re going to start regular gardening sessions with the first one on Friday 23rd February, 10 am to 12 noon in the Park at the site of the planned Wildlife Garden (near the car park).
Please come along with secateurs, spades or just a willing pair of hands. No prior experience required, just enthusiasm to get involved in this lovely biodiversity enhancing project.
