We’ve rebranded! Goodbye Dunbar Civic Week and hello to Heart of Dunbar Festival.
Hello! We’ve decided after a lot of discussion to rebrand. Thank you to all of you that voted for the new name and suggested a range of suggestions too.

We will have a new website and email up and running soon so please bear with us. We’re a new small team of four folk and we are doing our best to man all the socials and changes. Apologies if we’ve not got back to you. We are now in a position to start launching invites in the coming days to involve all of the community, no matter what age!
Now in its second year this event highlights the incredible depth of Dunbar's history with a series of talks, tours, workshops and demonstrations. The events take place in the Town House Museum, John Muir's Birthplace, The Ridge Support Centre and The Legion with tours around the town centre including the harbour. Welcome to East Linton a picturesque village set in the rolling countryside of East Lothian surrounded by farm land with the river Tyne flowing through the middle. This tour will take you from the train station on a walk through the village and highlight some key sights as well as giving you the opportunity to meander the high street and perhaps stop for something to eat or drink in one of the local cafes and pubs.
Salt Air is located in the heart of the old town of Dunbar just minutes from the beach, harbour's, High Street, cafes, independent shops, restaurants, golf courses and train station. Salt Air is a purpose built, pet friendly holiday let offering a modern, comfortable accommodation perfect for couples or a couple with a young family. Despite being in the heart of the town, Salt Air is very private. There is a high sandstone wall on two sides, one of which is the original town wall.
A women’s-only social run club based in East Lothian. Run for your reason. Run For Her.
We meet at Wishing Tree by the Sea in Lauderdale Park at 10am on Sundays. We finish at 11.15 with a coffee and catch up.
A relaxed, supportive, women-only run designed to bring women together through movement, community, and connection
This is a run-for-an-hour format, but with complete flexibility:
* You’ll run out for up to 30 minutes, then turn around and come back the same way
* Run at your own pace and as far as feels right for you
* The route is a straight out-and-back, so no one gets left behind
Whether you’re a first-time runner trying to find that spark or a seasoned runner looking for community, all abilities and paces are welcome
After the run, we’ll regroup back at the café for a social catch-up, coffee/tea, and treats
This run is about more than miles. It’s about showing up for yourself
