The Wave Project Talk

For the first time ever, The Wave Project and Saltrock are bringing the message of surf therapy to communities across the UK.

The Wave Project Talks are a unique opportunity to learn more about the impact of pioneering surf therapy programmes on young people around the UK.

Join us at the Belhaven Surf Centre for a series of talks from our Founder and CEO Joe Taylor, surf therapy participants, volunteers, and experts in the field. You'll hear about the role The Wave Project has played in the mental and emotional health of young people over the last thirteen years and our plans for growth over the next four.

Tickets for the event are free, but spaces are limited. Which is why we are offering you, our valued supporter, the opportunity to secure your place before tickets are made available to the general public. Young people are struggling in the UK, and according to the NHS, one in six children under the age of 18 have reported a mental health issue. A national lockdown in 2020/21 and the recent cost of living crisis have only increased the number of mental health issues and referrals. We are on a mission to change that.
