The Knitted Bible Festival @ St Annes

The Knitted Bible has been touring the UK since the first scene was knitted in 2008.

Now, for the first time, it is coming to St Anne’s Church between February 15 and 17.

The exhibition has been organised by the people of St Anne’s Church, Our Lady of the Waves, Dunbar Parish Church, and Belhaven and Spott Parish Church.

All 36 Biblical scenes will be on display alongside a series of events.

On the opening day, at 10.30am, Knit and Natter takes place, with people encouraged to head along with their own knitting and enjoy the exhibition in the company of fellow knitters.

The following day, holy communion takes place at 10.30am, followed by a guided walk around the stories of the knitted Bible at 2.30pm, and an informal service takes place at 4.30pm.
