The Stewart Brothers Guitar Duo play a Spanish guitar fusion of melodic, contemporary music in a number of styles and genres, including Latino, Spanish, Blues, Flamenco, Pop (as well as a bit of Rock), with cover interpretations as well as original compositions. They are based in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders.

They have played guitar together continuously since young childhood, and have performed and recorded with a variety of bands and individuals over the years.

Although he started out with Classical guitar, Graham Stewart has focused mainly on electric and acoustic Funk, Blues and Rock guitar. Graham has played in several rock and blues bands, and he has performed in UK, Spain , Denmark and The Faroe Islands, including several performances (two of which were at the Roundhouse in London) with Joe Lynn Turner (of Deep Purple and Rainbow fame). Graham has his name on a number of albums and singles, including a release of two songs in 2024 together with his long-time musical partner Jorgin Dahl (Watch Me I’m Free and Song For Her).

Graham also plays regularly together with acoustic bluesman Uni Debes, and has another project The Crosswind Band.

Neil inherited a love of both Baroque and Bossa Nova guitar from their father Jake Stewart. He has performed in a Jazz / World Music guitar duo at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and Irish Bazooki with Scottish ceilidh bands.

Inspired by both Latin American and Andalusian guitar virtuosi, such as Carlos Barbosa Lima and Paco de Lucia, Neil continues to improvise and compose pieces for solo guitar.

He is a Licentiate of the London College of Music

The Duo had their first gig in summer 2024. Since then they have played at the Scottish Arts Club in Edinburgh and at St Boswells Live. They have a number of shows coming up in summer 2025 including the Summer Festival in the Faroe Islands.

They have just completed a new album, Songs Without Words, at Graham's studio in Edinburgh, recorded by acclaimed producer Oli Poulsen  https://olipoulsen.com
