Printmaking Workshop: Drypoint Etching
10:00 am - 3:00 pm April 12, 2025
Drypoint Etching is a printmaking process in the Intaglio family. Sharp tools/etching points are used to incise and scratch a picture into a plate made from cardboard, perspex and zinc to create a channel which will hold ink. The surface ink is wiped clean and the ink left in the channels can then be printed onto paper using our etching press.
These workshops are suitable for complete beginners, creatives or printmakers wishing to improve their drypoint skills.
Age 16+
Children between the age of 8-15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
