Pictish Trail @ East Linton

7:45 pm - October 5, 2024
East Linton Community Hall
75 High Street
East Linton , EH40 3BQ

For our next event Team Nightjar will be travelling 6 miles west of our usual haunt, to the bright lights of East Linton! This time we’ve managed to persuade the legendary Pictish Trail to pop by the EL Community Hall on his way past after a sell out show at Leith Cricket Club on the Friday night.

Accompanied by Semay Wu on cello, Gillian Fleetwood on harp, and Susan Bear on keys & bass, Pictish Trail will be performing a set of rarities and reworkings, alongside some good ol’ faves from across his first five albums.

With support from Liverpool’s Luce Mawdsley - an experimental instrumental artist whose latest album Northwest and Nebulous has been described by Forced Magazine as “a lush and accomplished instrumental album suffused with radiant and fluid possibilities, where expansively cinematic instrumentals conjure queer cowboy landscapes via the Northern English coastline.”

Live music finishes at 10pm to allow those who wish to take the train from East Linton station back to Edinburgh, but for anyone else, the bar will stay open and local DJ Solomon Haunt will be spinning tunes til 11:30pm 🎶

Tickets available here.
