Join historian and translator Ashley Douglas for an evening exploring her new book, With My Own Hand: The Secret Life of Marie Maitland. Discover the fascinating story of Marie, a sixteenth-century Scottish woman whose secret love poetry was hidden in a historic manuscript, revealed for the first time by Douglas.

The event will feature an interview, audience Q&A, and book signing. Copies of the book will be available for collection at the event or via post.
