Lifeboat Day @ Dunbar Harbour

The Lifeboat Fete will begin with a parade along the High Street at 1.15pm, before the crowing of the queen takes place at 2pm on the harbour stage.

This is the biggest harbour fete of the year with lots of fun for kids, and adults. There’s a donation on the way-in so bring some cash. People are usually generous as they know the lifeboat crews are volunteers and launch is in (almost) any weather.

Food stalls, music and kids activities all around our glorious harbour. Music from the mighty Setting Sons at 1.15pm.

Lifeboats have been launching from Dunbar Harbour for over 200 years and the crews have been honoured with 12 awards for gallantry.
