New author event! 
Award-winning poet and playwright Hannah Lavery will be joining us at Dunbar Library on Monday, 7th October, at 7.30 pm for a poetry reading and signing from her stunning new collection, Unwritten Woman.
Unwritten Woman is a bold and lavish call for us to see the woman in the stories we read and tell ourselves, from Lavery's search for the story in her home city, Edinburgh, through her chilling re-telling of Robert Louis Stevenson's Jekyll & Hyde, elevating the women in that classic tale from being written between the lines, to the woman of colour, shouting from the sidelines of our cultural landscape.
Please note, if you already have a copy of Unwritten Woman, we will also be offering 'entrance only' tickets for this event, all proceeds from which will be donated to the RNLI.
