Therapeutic sound can help us Reclaim, Restore and Rebalance Wellbeing. More information at the end!
Welcoming those of you who are returning for another sound session. For those of you joining for the first time - welcome to you. Whether this is your first 'sound bath' or not there is always an alchemy between you and the sound. Some consider Friday 13th unlucky however it is becoming more widely reclaimed in recognition as celebration of creativity and rebirth in honour of the divine feminine that resides in us all. A cleansing blend from a sun gong and symphonic gong will call us to uncover aspects of ourselves that have been forgotten, dismissed, shadowed over or waiting to be realised.
Our session will begin with a gentle guided meditation using words and sounds to support our bodies, minds and senses to relax and ease tension into a comfortable position laying down (seating can be an option if required). Following this a combination of meditative sounds will combine from tsingshaws, singing bowls, shruti box, two beautifully resonating gongs, mantra and voice.
Therapeutic sound can relieve stress, reduce tension, physical pain, help ease the mind to a point of clarity or a sense of feeling 're-set'. It is known to elevate moods to a positive state and boost general well-being. To receive the sound experience it is best to lay on the floor however if you feel this is not possible for you please let Melissa know upon booking or prior to the event:

*The event will begin at 7pm but you are welcome to arrive up to 10 minutes earlier to use the facilities, orientate or to blow up your air bed - please no earlier than this. The doors will be locked at 7.10pm so everyone has a chance to fully immerse in the experience.
* Tickets are set at a sliding scale for you to select which aligns for you.
* Please note that these sessions are for smaller groups of people so that there is a comfortable amount of space for you to settle into.
What do I bring? You are welcome to bring your own mat and blanket, you may wish to bring a pillow, eye-mask, thicker mat to lay on, sleeping bag, blow up bed and anything that will enhance your comfort such as a hot water bottle or hat. Wearing what you feel comfortable in is a bonus.
*** Please bring lots of warm garments for we do not know how our Scottish climate will present.

Reviews from attendees:
'Thank you again, I feel really refreshed and energised. I’m from Luxembourg visiting my sister and she treated me to Melissa’s sound bath. It was the most amazing experience, especially at this special time of year between Samhain and All Saints’ Day. I would highly recommend her.'
‘It was lovely to experience a very familiar space in a new way. It’s not often we give ourselves the space and time to just be, to just absorb the environment we are in, no phones, no distractions, none of the usual markers of time. What freedom! I absolutely would recommend this experience, and I absolutely would do it again!’. Marga
