Glasgow university Foamie Fest

We’re running our very own Glasgow University surf competition, available only to members of GUS! The competition will be run on Saturday the 16th of March (not Feb) from 10am - 5pm at Belhaven Bay in Dunbar. Absolutely anyone who’s a member of the club is eligible to compete, the most important rule... you must ride a foam board!

Even if you think competing isn’t for you, the competition will be super beginner friendly and the judging criteria definitely not the most serious, so I’d fully recommend absolutely everyone to give it a go! It’s not often you get the opportunity to compete in such a friendly environment! There’s also a whole bunch of prizes to be won, from clothes to wetsuit boots to dry bags! The day will also include food, volleyball, sun (hopefully), some groovy tunes and the opportunity to stay overnight for a second day of surf!!!

There are 2 ticket options for foamie fest at different prices so to sign up, follow the link in our Instagram bio or the email that’s been sent out and carefully read all the information on the google sign-up form. Send the correct amount of money and complete the signup form to secure your spot!
