Fundraising *Artist Talk & Tapestry Exhibition*

Dukes of West Barns are thrilled to announce details of this upcoming exhibition and artist talk with Andrew Crummy, the acclaimed artist behind the Great Tapestry of Scotland.

We will be showcasing Andrew’s incredible cancer tapestries, here at Dukes of West Barns from Wednesday 24th - Sunday 28th July. This extraordinary collection of work reflects the personal connections and experiences of those impacted by cancer. The needlework in these tapestries is exquisite and can only truly be appreciated in person.

To kick start the exhibition on Wednesday 24th July at 5pm, Andrew will be sharing insight into the inspiration and process behind several of his tapestries. This will include his cancer tapestries, Great Tapestry of Scotland and a particular focus on pieces inspired by East Lothian’s history.

Prior to the artist talk on the 24th July, we will be hosting a stitching workshop from 3pm - 5pm which is open to all ticket holders attending the artist talk.

All profits will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK. Tickets are limited and we have received a great deal of interest in this event so early booking is recommended! Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite via the link here.
