Fossil Walk at Barns Ness

Did you know the short coastal walk from White Sands to Barns Ness lighthouse is an ideal place to see lots of fossils and the remains of a carboniferous forest.
Join the Edinburgh Geological Society on the 14th of June, as they take us on a guided tour through 350 million years of history.
Walk begins at the east end side of White Sands Beach (NT713772, What3Words: trembles.represent.encloses) at 7pm. Free for all adventurers and explorers.
