Food Growers Collective: From the Garden to the Community (Table)
Organised by East Lothian Climate Hub
Care about growing and how we can get good food into our communities? This event is open to anyone already working with community growing or interested in how we support our communities to access good food and to grow and learn together.
We will have a tour of the Ridge’s beautiful gardens, which involve peer-to-peer learning around growing. This will be followed by a presentation by the Ridge on their projects that support food and the local community, from learning how to grow, to cooking skills, to making locally grown food accessible. We will then have a discussion on the critical link between local growing, access to this food and working with the larger community ecosystem.
