11:00 am - 12:00 pm October 14, 2024
This year we have decided to hold our first Fishermen’s Mission National Support Day. We were formed in 1881, 14th October, when our founder, Ebenezer Mather witnessed the terrible loss of fishermen on Black Friday in Eyemouth.
We want this day to be a National Celebration of our work, past, present, and future. We will be giving a huge thank you to all our friends, family and supporters and highlighting the modern, vital, up to date services that we can now offer to our fishermen and their families.
We would very much like you to join us for an online Thanksgiving Service. Giving thanks to God who sustains us in all we do, and we strive to achieve in the future.
The service will take place on zoom (details below) on 14 October at 11.00 am and will last around 30 mins.
You don’t need to tell us if you are intending to join us, there is room for all! Spread the word to anyone else you think would like to be with us.
You need to click here on the link below to join the zoom call. We suggest that you ‘test’ your zoom by clicking the link earlier than 11am to ensure that any computer updates take place before the Service starts – we all know how annoying that can be!
The zoom call will open at 10.50 am so you can join from then onward. If you would like to stay on for a virtual coffee afterward, we will be splitting into little groups online to have a chat and a catch up.
