A longer walk of 22km / 13 miles with total ascent of 350 metres / 1150 ft.

Starting from Dunbar Lesiure Pool, we will walk down to the harbour following the John Muir Link along the shore to Dunbar Golf Club. Leave the golf course and follow a path to the A1087, cross the road here and follow a path alongside the main East Coast railway line. Under the railway bridge and follow a lovely quiet path passing Oswald Dean. Gentle ascent to Home Farm and the Doon Hill climb – a wee bit steepish here but gorgeous views of the coastline and over to Fife.

From Doon Hill we follow field edges and tracks to the Brunt, and then into Woodhall Nature Reserve – a favourite place for bird watchers. A narrow path with some ups and downs, and 2 sets of steepish steps. Can be muddy if it has previously rained!

There are some more ups and downs and tracks until we reach Black Loch and Bell Craig. There could be some cattle here but they can be avoided. From here we follow a lane, then a quiet road down into Spott where we will be picked up by bus and taken back to the start of the walk in Dunbar.

Wear suitable footwear, bring waterproof clothing, a snack for coffee time, and a packed lunch.

NB size of group will be capped at 20

Although unlikely, we may encounter livestock so NO DOGS please on this walk.
