Dunbar Sings is delighted to be hosting a singing workshop led by the fabulous Christine Kydd! Come and join us for a wonderful day of singing! There will be a break for lunch: bring your own or buy from the High Street.

Christine Kydd is a traditional singer and contemporary songwriter. She grew up with Scottish music and has appeared on stage throughout the UK, Ireland, the US and Germany and has delivered workshops on the voice and Scottish song throughout Europe. She was inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2018 (fellow inductees include Sheena Wellington, Dick Gaughan and Jean Redpath). An experienced voice-worker, with a world class postgraduate qualification from the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, she can work on professional voice issues as well as delivering high quality workshops for community choirs. She is currently engaged with a creative work inspired by her experiences from diagnosis to receiving life saving treatment for cancer.

Karine Polwart summed up the breadth of her appeal in these words:
"A singer of grace and generosity, she's an inspirational teacher, a brilliant harmony arranger and a commanding soloist.."
