Sea shanties, family fun, and fishing tales of old …it’s all here at Dunbar’s first ever Festival of the Sea - ‘TIDE AND TIME’! Immerse yourself in the bygone days of life around the Harbour, the thriving fishing industry, and the colourful community that made Dunbar what it is today. TIDE AND TIME is a celebration of our past, our present, and importantly - our future, with a focus on sustainability and our coastal environment.

Our Harbour Event

Where to go first? Don’t worry, you can take the whole weekend to explore a wealth of fun and interesting stalls at our Harbour Event.  Join local enthusiasts, who will delve into the history of Dunbar Harbour on our Harbour Tours; find out about the local catch at Dunbar Harbour, where it can be bought and how to cook it; and visit our Educational Stalls to learn about Safety at Sea, Marine Life and Litter in our Coastal Environment, and what you can do to help Save Our Seas! 

With tons of exciting activities, live music, narrative theatre, cooking demo’s and so much more, our TIDE AND TIME Harbour event will be a fun weekend for the whole family that you won’t want to miss!
