GET INVOLVED IN ACTION
Do you have a bit of time to take on some type of action to oppose the proposed Dunbar Hyperscale Datacentre?
Depending on your skills and interests, I'm sure there's a role that would be the perfect fit for you!
The planning group to oppose the Dunbar Hyperscale AI data centre are looking for people to get involved. The planning is in it's early stages but we're keen that any action has a co-ordinated approach to avoid any duplication.
These planning meetings aren't to debate the pros and cons of the data centre proposal (the best place for this will be a public information event that will be planned soon) but instead is a way to meet to allow the opposition action to be structured and for us to come together and to be effective .
If this sounds of interest to you then you would be very welcome to come to this meeting.. Please choose 'Going' in this event to let us better estimate numbers.
We need to fight this together so any help would be much appreciated. We would be especially interested in anyone who has experience in this environmental field, lawyers, those with media, campaigning or community engagement experience but let us know if you think you have skills that we haven't considered that you think could benefit the group.
