We would like to invite you to an evening talk and workshop about how communities can and are transforming the world, with renowned economist Dr Katherine Trebeck. She is an inspiring speaker, who takes audiences on a journey of discovery, making the complexities of economics accessible and sparking new ways of thinking about changing the world.
How can we make the Dunbar area into a place in which everyone can thrive in a flourishing environment?
The evening will also be a chance to meet and hear from the group of international students from Flensburg University who will be staying with us in Dunbar for 5 weeks from 25th January to work on a range of projects looking into how to reduce local fuel bills and the possibility of establishing community-owned renewable energy projects that could generate a significant long-term income stream for local investment.
