Chiara Berardelli always knew she wanted to be a songwriter but didn't manage to convince her school guidance teacher.
She left her job as a doctor to follow her passion and self-released her first album at the tender age of 42.
Her songs are an evocative collision of her piano-led love of harmony and fiercely honest lyrics and have been featured on Radio Scotland's Afternoon Show as Single Of The Week.
Chiara's latest album, Archaeology, represents the discovery of her buried creativity after leaving her medical job for good.
