Belhaven Beach Clean

Hoping our wonderful Dunbar community can get behind this - Belhaven Beach needs our help to clear litter brought up with recent winter swells - definitely the worst I've seen beach for a good while. We had an amazing turn out at our November beach clean after Storm Babet so let's do this!!

If like me you’ve noticed the increase in rubbish on our beaches as the winter swells bring a whole raft of waste onto our shores then I hope you can spare some time to come together as a community and take action. Wilder are collaborating with @c2csurfschool, @sassoutheastscotland, @waveprojectscotland and @belhaven_surf_centre to co-ordinate a beach clean this Sunday 21st January from 1.30pm. Please meet and register at the Belhaven surf centre for instructions and safety briefing. Families welcome - under 16s should be accompanied. Wrap up warm and bring a flask - it’s going to be chilly !! Thanks!
