Archaeology Fortnight 2022

In 1650, Oliver Cromwell smashed the Scottish army of David Leslie in a fast and devastating attack in the fields beyond Dunbar. Join Arran Johnston, author of Essential Agony: the Battle of Dunbar, for a unique narrative walk to the battlefield, imagining the events of the night before the battle. The walk ends at the Battlefield Monument, where we will pause to remember the thousands who lost their life. Hosted by the Scottish Battlefields Trust.
