A women’s-only social run club based in East Lothian. Run for your reason. Run For Her.
We meet at Wishing Tree by the Sea in Lauderdale Park at 10am on Sundays. We finish at 11.15 with a coffee and catch up.
A relaxed, supportive, women-only run designed to bring women together through movement, community, and connection
This is a run-for-an-hour format, but with complete flexibility:
* You’ll run out for up to 30 minutes, then turn around and come back the same way
* Run at your own pace and as far as feels right for you
* The route is a straight out-and-back, so no one gets left behind
Whether you’re a first-time runner trying to find that spark or a seasoned runner looking for community, all abilities and paces are welcome
After the run, we’ll regroup back at the café for a social catch-up, coffee/tea, and treats
This run is about more than miles. It’s about showing up for yourself

*DUNBAR’S SWEET & SMOKED HEARTBEAT — 12PM TO 9PM, WE GOT YOU!*
From the first sizzle at noon to the last bite at 9, we’re turning this kitchen into the *soul of Dunbar* — where smoke meets sweet, where passion meets plate, and where every customer leaves smiling.
That’s when the magic happens. The sun’s high, the crews are hungry, the streets are buzzing — and _we_ are the reason they stop, eat, and come back.
Your support fuels us. Every order, every nod, every “this is amazing!” keeps us grinding, tweaking, perfecting. We don’t just serve food — we serve *community*, we serve *comfort*!
ELTRP work with East Lothian Council, and others, to improve services received by tenants and residents and improve their local community.
We offer support, training and information to help groups address local issues. We organise consultation events to seek feedback from tenants and residents from within East Lothian about specific issues raised and so much more.
ELTRP support over 20 local tenants and residents associations across East Lothian. You can visit the Groups' page to find out if there is a local group in your area.
Dunbar Town Centre Residents Group
We have started a group to represent the interests of owners, tenants, and residents on and around Dunbar High Street. If you want to see a cleaner, cared-for town centre, get assistance with repair issues, or support with your relationships with tenants, co-owners, landlords and neighbours, please get in touch.
This annual event is normally held in the Dunbar Parish Church Hall just off the High Street in mid September.
The show features classes for flowers, vegetables, baking, craft and children's sections.
A schedule can be obtained from Knox Garden Centre on High Street or by contacting Gordon on 01368 862824.
(Those who have participated in the show in the last two years will automatically receive a schedule of classes).
Lauderdale Park is one of Dunbar's most popular outdoor spaces and it is just a short walk from the High Street. The owners of the Wishing Tree cafe organise regular monthly markets within the stunning walled garden. These events often coincide with other events that take place in the town and showcase some of the best makers and producers from Dunbar and across East Lothian.
Dogs on a lead are welcome. Dates are publicised by the Wishing Tree and on the What's On pages of this website.

The RNLI ‘Lifeboat Day’ takes place on a Saturday mid July every year, starting with a parade on the High Street at 1pm.
This is the biggest harbour fete of the year with lots of fun for kids, and adults. There’s a donation on the way-in so bring some cash. People are usually generous as they know the lifeboat crews are volunteers and launch is in (almost) any weather.
Food stalls, music and kids activities all around our glorious harbour.
The event raised an incredible £18,000 in 2025.
