We are open for as long as Lauderdale Park is open. This varies throughout the year. In the Summer months it is approximately 8:00am - 8:00pm.
We are a community pétanque facility in Lauderdale Park, Dunbar and we are open to everyone.
Pétanque is a simple game to learn and can be played by all age groups, all abilities and all skill levels. If you have your own boules, you are very welcome to play for free at any time there is not an organised event. If you do not have your own boules, you can hire them from Wishing Tree By The Sea Café. Club membership is available through our Facebook group.
A visitor to the pétanque pistes can rent equipment at a cost of £5. This could be up to 6 sets of boules if you are playing triples, 4 sets if you are playing pairs and 2 sets if you are playing singles. A member is able to borrow boules for free as often as is required. Membership also entitles you to play on club days and nights. We have club nights on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 - 8pm and on Sunday afternoons from 2- 4pm. These sessions are mixed ability/groups playing games. There will also be club events such as hosting other groups and visitors.
We are, first and foremost, a community facility - built by the community - for the community. Everyone is welcome
