Dunbar Boardgame Club launched in February 2019 with the goal of helping gamers in East Lothian meet other gamers and play games with them. We have one simple rule: No Monopoly, please! 🙂
We mainly focus on the sorts of games you'll find on BoardGameGeek.com. (Here's their user-voted list of the greatest boardgames of all time, FWIW.) Whether you're into gateway games like Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, Settlers of Catanand Sushi Go!, more complex games like Terraforming Mars, Concordia and The Lost Ruins of Arnak, co-operative games like Pandemic and Forbidden Desert, or party games like Codenames and Dixit, you're sure to find something interesting to play with someone on a club night.
Where and when we meet: We currently meet every Thursday from 7 p.m. at The Stables, the building to the right and rear of Belhaven Parish Church in Dunbar (see photo at right).
