National Iyengar Yoga Day – FREE YOGA CLASS

Join certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher Diane Christopherson for a practical introduction to Iyengar yoga. Iyengar yoga is a method developed by B.K.S. Iyengar, one of the world’s most respected yoga masters. It focuses on precision, alignment, and mindful movement, often using props such as belts and blocks to make postures accessible and inclusive. Practised worldwide, it’s known for its clarity, discipline, and therapeutic benefits for both body and mind!
What to expect:
A warm welcome and short introduction to Iyengar yoga
An explanation on props and why we use them
A simple yoga practice including standing, seated, hip opening and reclining poses.
A 10% discount code for any classes booked before March 2026.
Paid parking is available at the Shore Road Car Park.
If local, you can walk, cycle or get on the bus which stops at the end of Shore Road.
