Printmaking Workshop Dunbar Callographs

Part of the Dunbar Histories Day.

Collagraphy is a printmaking process using a mix of Intaglio & Relief printmaking techniques combined. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, creatives and printmakers looking for a fun creative experience.

Age 16+

Children between the age of 8-15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Explore a variety of materials and techniques to create your own plate, learn how to ink up and successfully print your plate on our XL Gunning Etching Press.

All materials are included along with demonstrations and expert guidance.

What to bring - Ideas, images, sketches, photos. We also have a range of books available for inspiration.

What to wear- Old clothes as it can get messy although aprons are provided. No long jewellery and longer hair should be tied back. These workshops are 2 hours long.

NB - April 26th- In celebration of the history of Dunbar town centre you will be creating a Dunbar inspired collagraph from a range of local photos and postcards of local architecture and scenery. Please feel free to bring along your own inspiring pictures of Dunbar to use as reference.
