Description:
Winterfield Park is a huge open park with tennis courts, rugby and football pitches, a putting course and an outdoor gym. The park is ideal for a variety of sport enthusiasts and is also home to Dunbar Cricket Club. On breezy days it is the perfect spot for kite flying and there is even a water tap, ideal for thirsty dogs.
It is a short ten minute walk from the High Street and is also skirted by the breathtaking Cliff Top Trail which can be joined from beside the swimming pool.
The Friends of Winterfield is a local, proactive community group working with East Lothian Council and local organisations to preserve and improve Winterfield Park for the benefit of Dunbar.
