Dunbar is the home of Sescot Radio, (pronounced Seescot Radio - a synonym of South-East Scotland Radio) the Community Radio station, which provides a comprehensive radio service dedicated to our little corner of south east Scotland.
Based in studios by the Hallhill Sports complex, we’ve been broadcasting 24/7 since spring 2020, providing a cross-section of programming geared to likes and interests of our listeners throughout the region. * See below
Apart from our broadcasting facilities, we also provide (free of charge for Charities or Fund Raising for local good causes) P.A. and music services at outside events. We also offer an excellent platform for local businesses to advertise their wares and services at exceptionally competitive rates.
We are a registered charity and run entirely by unpaid volunteers. We offer full training and mentoring to those who would like to join us as a member of the Crew in front of - or behind the mic, irrespective of any previous experience. Our studios are wheelchair friendly and we’re open to absolutely everyone - irrespective of colour, class, creed, social background or any medical issues.
