Description:

Dunbar is the home of Sescot Radio, (pronounced Seescot Radio - a synonym of South-East Scotland Radio) the Community Radio station, which provides a comprehensive radio service dedicated to our little corner of south east Scotland.

Based in studios by the Hallhill Sports complex, we’ve been broadcasting 24/7 since spring 2020, providing a cross-section of programming geared to likes and interests of our listeners throughout the region. * See below

Apart from our broadcasting facilities, we also provide (free of charge for Charities or Fund Raising for local good causes) P.A. and music services at outside events. We also offer an excellent platform for local businesses to advertise their wares and services at exceptionally competitive rates.

We are a registered charity and run entirely by unpaid volunteers. We offer full training and mentoring to those who would like to join us as a member of the Crew in front of - or behind the mic, irrespective of any previous experience. Our studios are wheelchair friendly and we’re open to absolutely everyone - irrespective of colour, class, creed, social background or any medical issues.

For more information, or to ‘tune in’, please visit our website at www.sescotradio.scot - then follow the links via the ‘Listen Live’ button.
OR…simply ask your smart device to “Open Sescot Radio” On the other hand we can be found on literally dozens of broadcasting platforms including this one: http://radio.garden/visit/dunbar/3l-dt5dC

Sescot Radio, the beautifully formed Community Radio Station based here in Dunbar and serving south-east Scotland.

‘Midweek with Lorraine’ airs every Wednesday afternoon and is presented by Lorraine Houston. Lorraine regularly interviews local guests from a wide range of backgrounds and shares their interests and music tastes with listeners.

Andy Morris’ ‘GREAT Golden Oldies Show’ on Saturday mornings is a favourite with older listeners as he recalls memories and music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

If you are a lover of Rock Music, then look no further than Mitch Stevenson’s ‘Juke Box Mix’ every Wednesday evening. This is a firm favourite with both young and older listeners alike.

And for sounds that are right up to date, Babs Imrie’s, ‘The Feel’ on Friday evenings is the one for you with all the up to date news, views and sounds from around the local scene and beyond.
