The Dunmuir Hotel is an award-winning family hotel and the home to the 1902 Bar & Grill restaurant and the leading hotel in Dunbar, East Lothian as voted by visitors to the hotel. We are No 1 on Tripadvisor for Dunbar and No 2 in East Lothian.
If you are looking for accommodation in Dunbar we have 19 rooms, 2 deluxe rooms, a number of stylish superior rooms with one accessible room on the ground floor and cosy wee doubles, preserving many of the original architectural features. There are a further nine standard bedrooms located on the lower ground floor, all finished to a high standard of comfort. The hotel does not have a lift. Parking for around 25 cars.
The 1902 Grill at the Dunmuir is one of Dunbar’s, East Lothian's leading award winning restaurants. It has established a fine reputation for the quality of the cuisine and service. It was recognized for it's culinary excellence and service in 2017 award and then in 2020 & 2021 we were awarded a Trip Advisor Traveller's Choice award.
Our menu changes to reflect the seasons with an emphasis is on fresh local/Scottish produce and with as much as possible made on the premises. Jamie works with a lot of local Scottish game and fish.
The hotel is located 5 minutes from the East Beach, Dunbar Golf Club and a short walk to the town and Dunbar Train station.
We are Dog friendly. Your dog can stay overnight and you dine in our Wee Bar area for all meals.
